LAKE PLACID
Short blog this week because A) I’m on vacation and B) kind of has similar attributes to my last blog! I am currently in the beautiful town of Lake Placid, a historic Olympic Hockey place known for the dominant performance put on by Team USA in 1980. This place is so beautiful, but I am drawn to the stores that go up and down Main Street.
Obviously my first stop was the Team USA Store. Lots of memorabilia to choose from and they had merch for every single Olympic sport. It was an amazing place to start my little shopping spree. They also have a store dedicated to USA Hockey. This is where a lot of my damage will be made… They not only had unique Miracle on Ice pieces, but also every single NHL team’s merchandise ranging from the Hartford Whalers to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Threw in a Life is Good t shirt since there is one on Main Street and I am obsessed with the fit of there Women’s Boxy T Shirt :)
This town has exceeded my expectations in every way and it’s only my first day! If you love hockey as much as I do I HIGHLY recommend visiting this historic town!
